The Cult
"Report on CULT: Ian came out on stage with a winter fur lined jacket, dark glasses, Pulled back hair (dirty??) and something like "Dockers" pants! HUH???? Would have liked him to look his part.. like he used to... His vocals were in top shape but his timing lyrically on every song was off and bizarre! He INNER- TWINNED really weird songs like "Lucifer" and "the wolf" with his hits like "Nirvana". He even did " Horse Nation" which would have been my last pick. The show wasnt bad....and it wasnt great either... His hired hands in the band did a great job. Sound could have been much louder on Billy Duffy. Would have liked to have heard "Tiger in the sun" or "Peace Dog". He did a few songs off the LOVE album, so I dug that.. he didnt move much and NONE of them cracked a smile... I like to see a bit more enthusiasm on stage... but his opening act "Against Me"s enthusiasm was quite hard to top! "
